The 16th International Astronomy Olympiad in Almaty has come to an end. It was an amazing time, and we hope that all participants liked it and will remember it for a long time.
These nine days were unforgettable and we would like to thank all participants for making such a long trip to Kazakhstan. Your smiles and laughter made the Bobek center even brighter and we are sure that all people who were near you wished this Olympiad never ended.
But even though all of you are home now with your families and friends, we hope that you will not forget people you met here and in the future you will become good friends and colleagues who will solve important astronomical problems together and bring mankind closer to the stars!
See you in Korea next year — http://iao2012.org/!
Best regards,
Dr. Vera Zagainova, member of the Organizing Committee of the 16th IAO
